Original numbers from our deep dive of 90 bounce-house and party rental businesses in 25 states. 90 businesses from the top of the national website ranking (deep-dived so far, in rank order). This is NOT a random sample of all rental companies. Only totals and percentages are shown.
- Fleet size: the average business lists 26.6 inflatable units; the median is 19 (middle half: 6.5 to 39.25; range 0 to 118; 2,396 units in total).
- Prices: 92% of businesses with listed units show at least one price online, 70.1% show a price for every unit, and 88.1% of all listed units carry a visible price.
- Booking: we detected a named online booking or rental platform on 51.1% of sites.
- Water slides are the largest share of listed inflatables (30.6%), ahead of bounce houses and combos (23.2% each).

Method
Best Bounce Biz deep dive: polite crawl of each public website (robots.txt respected, 1 request at a time, up to 60 pages per site), units read from product pages and priced cards, then hand-reviewed. Units are inflatables only (tents, tables and concessions excluded). Pricing means a dollar amount shown next to a unit on the public site. 5 businesses had low or no extraction confidence (for example a page cap or a bot challenge), so their counts are floors. Numbers come from the deep-dive data file of 2026-10; nothing was estimated or filled in. Website scores are separate: see methodology and the 2026 website report.
